In residential neighborhoods of São Paulo private guards are very common site. In Guaritas I explore their private spaces. Some of these men have worked as Guards for over 20 years, sometimes occupying the same watch houses. I look for the marks they make, the objects that help shaping these now private spaces. As a photographer I am fascinated by time and the idea of looking, in this spaces man spend long ours watching for others.
